Mifare Classic is an older smart card technology whose cryptographic algorithms were cracked years ago. As a result, Mifare Classic cards can be easily cloned or copied using cheap handheld card readers. In contrast, HID iCLASS Seos represents the modern gold standard. It uses secure AES-128 cryptographic engines and mutual authentication protocols, making Seos cards mathematically impossible to clone or copy.

Yes. We deploy HID Signo readers that are pre-configured with NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) antennas. By installing a secure mobile credential app (like HID Mobile Access), employees can tap their Android or iOS smartphone on the reader, or simply wave their hand near the reader ("twist and go" mode) to unlock the door.

Wiegand is an older, unidirectional communication protocol that sends plain-text card data from the door reader to the controller. It has no encryption, meaning a hacker can intercept or replay the card signal at the wall. Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) is the modern industry standard. It is a bidirectional protocol that uses secure-channel AES-128 encryption, constantly monitors reader health, and prevents line-wire sniffing or replay attacks.

Yes. Our access control software management suites are built with rich REST APIs. They can dynamically synchronize with your company's Active Directory/LDAP (so when a user is deactivated in IT systems, their physical card is instantly disabled) and export daily/monthly swipe logs to your ERP software (like SAP or Oracle) to automate employee payroll.

Our controller panels are installed inside central power supply units containing 12V back-up batteries that sustain door locks for up to 8 hours of outage. Additionally, all electromagnetic lock power lines are routed through a central Fire Alarm Interface (FAI) relay. In the event of a building fire trigger, the FAI relay instantly cuts power to all doors, causing them to fail-safe (unlocking automatically) for emergency evacuation.
